Poles
What types of paint poles can I use?
Paint poles are designed to extend the reach of your roller frame in order to paint high surfaces such as walls and ceilings. The type of pole to use will depend on the size of the area you’re painting, as well as what the person doing the painting is most comfortable using.
Monarch has a range of professional paint poles which are both adjustable and fixed. The Monarch Easy-Lock Adjustable Pole is made from a strong, lightweight blend of fibreglass and aluminium. This is the perfect choice when doing a larger job, as the lighter pole will minimise fatigue. The easy-lock mechanism securely locks the pole into place across several adjustable pole lengths. This pole is equipped with a steel thread that fits all standard roller frames and broom heads and a rubber handle that improves grip and comfort to the user.
If you need something with a bit more reach, the Monarch Professional Aluminium Pole extends up to 3.6 metres. Made from a durable and lightweight aluminium, this pole is built to last. It also features a heavy duty metal thread which is crimped and riveted.
Which Monarch trade paint rollers can I attach to my paint pole?
All of them! Our range of poles all come with standard threads that fit all of our roller frames, irrespective of size. You can also attach broom heads and sanders to all Monarch poles.
What safety precautions do I need to consider when using a pole?
Due to the elevated risk of electrocution, never use a paint pole within 10 meters of high voltage power lines. Always make sure you are aware of your surroundings before starting a project where a paint pole is required, particularly if it has an extended reach.
